Caravan Days 10-11 Columbia Ice Fields and Jasper Alberta

A long drive with an incredible stop made for a long day.

From Banff we set out to Jasper Alberta. Along the way we stopped at the Columbia Ice Fields which is a large glacier along the road. This site, run by the Canadian National Park system, offers tours of the glacier itself by taking people out in large specially built vehicles.

An extremely worthwhile stop.

After the Glacier, we proceeded to Hinton Alberta, just outside of Jasper. There we spent a day in a KOA where we cleaned the RV and made some supply runs to the local Safeway and Canadian Tire.
